Hope justice will prevail to the real victim

I would like to take the opportunity to write about the issue of the alleged rape of the actor/host Mr. Vhong Navarro to the model stylist Ms. Deniece Cornejo. I have read the opinions of many people in different websites particular on Facebook and Twitter account expressing their sentiments and pity to Vhong and obviously 97% of them are sympathizing on the actor. The anger of the netizens was more intensified when one of the reporters in GMA7, reported that Vhong Navarro is a rapist though it is not proven yet that Navarro really rapes the girl, the angry netizens expressing their offended feelings against the said station and tag them as #GMA7PhilippinesWorstNetwork makes the reason why it is trending in a social network and they started to boycott the station. We boycotted also the GMA7 network; in fact we have started boycotting them since 2011 and up to the present, we will not stop boycotting them unless otherwise they make a public apology to our leader’s brother Eli Soriano. Being the author of my blog I think I have the right to say my opinion too with regards to this matter, and I am not saying my side because I’m into the voice of many but this is based on what I’ve felt, what I’ve studied base on both partie’s statements, base on the news and evidences, and most especially base on what the bible is saying.

First thing first, being a Christian. I believe that it is not good for a man or women especially if he or she is already in a relation to another and then did visit the place of someone who is not their partner even there is an invitation like what had happened to Vhong Navarro when he twice received the invitation to Deniece to visit her, it is considered a cheat to his partner. And that maybe was the reason also why he becomes emotional and cried a lot during an interview with him begging forgiveness to his girlfriend because deep inside in his heart he knows that it is possible for them to have an affair if there’s no called “setup” occurred. In this scene, I remembered the topic last Saturday preached by bro Daniel about the history of faith when Delilah cheated Samson, but in the end justice prevails to the ancestry of Samson over the Philistines. Navarro might learn his lesson now and wishing him to be faithful to his girlfriend and what happened to him may serve as warning also to those who are cheating on their partner.

However, my sympathy goes to Navarro. I feel that he’s the one who is saying the truth. My sympathy to him is more intense particularly when I heard the news just now while I am writing this that the CCTV of the condominium is now in the NBI’s hand. The reporter said that she got a chance to watch it but the NBI warned her not to report yet the full details because it is being scrutinized first by the said government agency. But according to the reporter based on what she had watched on the copy of CCTV footage, around 10:38 when Navarro arrive in the condominium, 10:39 when he was on the elevator 10:40 when Deniece fetch Cedric and 10:41 Cedric Lee arrive in the condo unit as well. So in this matter, it is clear evidence that the side of Cornejo and Lee are the one who is lying here. It is possible that it has really a set-up done to Navarro, because it is impossible to have a such rape issue with that kind of time frame. Good thing Navarro has filed a case now against Lee and company. I hope the truth will prevail, as what I am hoping for the justice would go on our side against the they called giant network GMA7.
